Dolphin brain

Dolphin brain’s were very hard to research mostly because some scientist  say it is like ours and some say it is not even close to ours. My prediction is it is not like ours because the look of their brain structure it is very different than ours. I also think it is different because if it was just like our brain the dolphin would be able to speak. Dolphin brains are very different because when dolphins sleep- they really don’t. They have to always think about breathing at night they can only close one half of the brain because if both half’s of the brain are closed the dolphin will die. They are also said to have three frontal lobes unlike all mammals. Mammals have only two. Their texture of the brain is known to be different because of the three frontal lobes. The dolphin’s brain is very intelligent because the dolphin can be known to do math and a dolphin knows if you are pregnant before you even know. Unlike most mammals the dolphin’s brain contains a paralimbic lobe which might be used for sensory process. They also are known to have most of the same functions as a human brain.
